Since its creation in 1828, Greengate Brewery has been home to JW Lees in the north of Manchester. The business has been run by six generations of the Lees family.
While tradition is a massive part of what JW Lees do, they’ve recently developed a small batch ‘Boilerhouse’ range, collaborating with fellow Mancunian brewers Seven Brothers and Cloudwater.
The Harvest Ale range is specially brewed once a year with the first harvested hops of the season. Each vintage has its own unique flavours which develop over the course of time resulting in a rich, unique toffee-tasting, fruity-smelling brew.
